First Comprehensive Inspection Train Runs on Shaanxi Section

of Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway

On the morning of April 3, as comprehensive inspection train DJ602 slowly pulled out of the Wuxi Yard at Xi'andong Railway Station and traveled along the Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway through the Qinling Mountains toward Manchuanguan and Yunxi, the integrated testing and commissioning of the Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway officially entered the comprehensive inspection stage, laying a solid foundation for trial operation and subsequent opening of the line.

The Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway is an important component of the national "Eight North-South and Eight East-West" high-speed railway network and forms a key diagonal line in Shaanxi's star-shaped high-speed railway network. The line passes through the cities of Xi'an, Shangluo and Shiyan, connecting to the completed Wuhan-Shiyan High Speed Railway. The newly built main line spans 256.938 kilometers, with a design speed of 350 km/h. Stations along the route include Xi'andong, Lantian, Shangluoxi, Shanyang, Manchuanguan, Yunxi and Shiyandong, of which Shiyandong is an existing station.
