All 10 Tunnels Bored Through for Mile-Mengzi High Speed Railway

On August 12, after more than 2 years of construction, the Dazhuang Tunnel of Mile-Mengzi HSR was successfully bored through. So far, all the 10 tunnels of the whole line have been completed, laying a solid foundation for the line to be put into operation on schedule.
The Dazhuang Tunnel is located in Kaiyuan City, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a total length of 2.7km. As the last tunnel completed on the Mile-Mengzi HSR, it is a double-track railway tunnel with a design speed of 250km/h.
