Since October 30, the stations along Harbin-Mudanjiang HSR began trial of e-ticketing. The railway sector will no longer distribute paper tickets when passengers purchase EMU train tickets at 12 stations on this line.

The implementation scope of e-ticket includes Mudanjiang Station, Hailin North Station, Hengdaohezi East Station, Yabuli West Station, Weihe West Station, Yimianpo North Station, Shangzhi South Station, Maoershan West Station, Acheng North Station, Xinxiangfang North Station, Harbin Station and Harbin West Station along Harbin-Mudanjiang HSR, as well as all "D" and "G" EMU trains within the operation range of Harbin-Mudanjiang HSR.

Passengers who successfully purchase tickets via 12306 website can print or download the ticket purchase information form via the website, or print at the designated window of the stations. When buying tickets at the station ticketing window, the station prints the ticket purchase information form, and passengers shall check the ticket purchase information on the spot. If passengers need reimbursement vouchers, they can exchange them at the station ticketing window and the self-service ticket machine with the original valid ID cards or temporary identity certificate used for ticket purchase, before departure of that train or within 30 days from the date of this trip.
