At present, Guilin is about to enter its best time for ginkgo sightseeing. China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd. has optimized the train operation plan in advance, and increased the transport capacity allocation in Guilin by adjusting the stopping schemes of trains, to meet the travel demand of tourists visiting Guilin in autumn.
Starting from October 18, 6 EMU trains running between Guiyang North Station, Chongqing West Station and Guangzhou South Station will additionally provide passenger service at Guilin West Station. Starting from November 7, train D3561 from Guiyang North Station to Beihai Station will additionally provide passenger service at Guilin West Station. The number of passenger trains at Guilin West Station will thus be increased from 70 to 77, providing more choices for tourists visiting Guilin.
After Guangxi Coastal High-speed Railway was put into operation, an hour-long life circle has come into being among the coastal cities in Beibu Gulf. Through the national high-speed railway network, the cities are more closely linked with large and medium-sized cities in China, and coastal tourism has become more and more prosperous with the help of high-speed railways. Beibu Gulf is dominated by subtropical oceanic monsoon climate with no severe cold in winter. In recent years, many tourists in northern China have come to Beibu Gulf for escaping cold, especially Beihai City, which has a beautiful beach named "Silver Beach", is becoming one of the winter resorts in China.
Starting from October 18, China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd. will operate an additional D8311 train from Nanning East Station to Beihai Station and D1798 train from Beihai Station to Chongqing West Station. Starting from October 19, there will be an additional D1797 train from Chongqing West Station to Beihai Station and D8306 from Beihai Station to Nanning East Station. So far, the number of high-speed trains running on Guangxi Coastal High-speed Railway has been increased from 78 to 82, striving to meet the travel needs of passengers visiting Beihai for escaping cold.
