Cross-border E-commerce CHINA RAILWAY Express Train in Yangtze River Delta First Launched

  At 10: 10 on October 9, the first cross-border e-commerce CRE train in Yangtze River Delta set off from Yiwu West Station with 82 standard containers and headed for its destination, Liege, Belgium, marking the official opening of the Yangtze River Delta's first cross-border e-commerce CRE train.

  According to information, the cross-border e-commerce CRE train between Yiwu and Liege is planned with 2 trains per week. After the cross-border packages arrive at Liege, they will be quickly distributed to European countries such as Germany, France and Czech Republic by domestic e-commerce partners. The operation of this CRE train will provide new import and export channel for cross-border e-commerce, and cross-border logistics will be significantly speeded up. It is estimated that the whole journey will only take about 20 days.

  Officials from China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. said that with the operation of CRE train from Yiwu to Liege, Yiwu serves as the origin station of CRE train running on 11 lines in total, making it the county-level city with the most CRE train lines in China.
